The essential features of and the prosthodontic procedures necessary for fabricating a radiation
applicator from dental acrylic resin for use in a clinical case of recurrent squamous cell carcinoma
treated by intracavitary radiotherapy are described. A method for reducing radiation dose to the
optic chiasm using Cerrobend alloy is presented.
